The Story of

The inspiration for the book comes from the beautiful imaginations of Kimberly's two daughters, Emma and Hannah. They have always been fascinated with the world of fairies, and spent countless nights building fairy houses outside on their front porch, imagining what happens when they're asleep. The excitement and joy of waking up in the morning to see if any fairies visited their fairy homes is a lifelong memory that Kimberly and her children will cherish. By sharing this book, they hope to bring the same magic and joy to their readers.​Both Emma and Hannah Perry had full creative ownership over what they wanted Finley to look like and thanks to their incredible illustrator, Lau Frank, he was able to take Emma's notebook sketch and turn it into a reality.
